Multiphoton microscopy is usually used to image very deep inside the biological sample.<\/p>\n
Typically these are optically inhomogenious because of a number of refractive index variations which are causing aberrations.<\/p>\n
This affects the quality of the PSF, which eventually degrades image quality.<\/p>\n
