About the technique

Multiphoton microscopy is usually used to image very deep inside the biological sample. Typically these are optically inhomogenious because of a number of refractive index variations which are causing aberrations. This affects the quality of the PSF, which eventually degrades image quality.

Implement on excitation pathway and boost significantly the fluorescence signal from your biological sample Correct the system and sample-induced aberrations with a typical gain of 3 to 5 times the two-photon effect Increase fluorescence signal and either reach deeper layers of your sample or decrease excitation laser intensity to minimize photo-toxicity
